I just can't justify $2K to the wife for a new bumper.
It's not a bumper, it's a life safety feature.
It's not a bumper, it's a table top.
It's not a bumper, it's a a winch holder.
It's not a bumper, it's a front step to check the oil.
It's not a bumper, its a cool looking hunk of aluminum.
EV-2 build is now complete, (yeah right).
Do you have photos and some pricing? I would be interested to hear the details.
I will as soon as it gets back from powder coating. With out Pivit points and tire rack im thinking its going to be around $700. for the rear bumper. I am making mine a little different from the norm wraping around the sides a little more and and tieing into the frame. Side ladder will come off that. hould be done by end of next week .

I'd sell mine. I've been wanting to do something like myriadmyriad did gallery/image_page.php?album_id=72&image_id=4631
If I had someone who wanted my bumper that would motivate my project. 1500.00 and it's yours. You have to pick it up in Santa Barbara though.

Just build your own out of some 2" x 6" steel square tubing, I'm going to do it that way, look at the ute's front bumper, that'll give ya an idea of what a piece of steel stock looks like instead of your front bumper. I plan on just mounting a comp series wench to the front of the tubing, mount some lights on top and call it a day, spending maybe 100 bucks on materials. Hell if you want guards, purchase a welder for a couple hundred bucks and give it a whirl, then you can say you built the front bumper. FYI I have nothing to do with the vehicle on this link.
