Re: Wanted: SMB Ford budget up to 45k Ready to buy

I'm about ready to post mine here, you're welcome to have a first look. Family (caretaking) obligations are making any trips this summer unlikely. I am starting at $47,500, but that seems close enough to your upper limit to mention it here. The specs briefly:

2005 EB50 SMB 4x4 6.0
59k miles (60k service done)
electric PH w bed
4 100w solar panels
panels and controller from AM Solar in Eugene, had them go through system last spring
the usual: fridge (4cuft), furnace(propane), water heater(propane), rear shower, 2000w inverter...

Just put some photos in my gallery. I currently have the upholstery out for some cleaning and installation of new battery relay (pro-active).

I'll PM you my contact info.

Man I would not be using those support bars with the electric PH, the thing is like iron when it's up and those were intended to keep the manual PH up. I imagine they'd either snap or rip some important parts out if you forgot them and tried to close the top.

Otherwise, nice van.

Tis a nice van but just can't do the EB for departure angle issues. Damn

Congrats! That thing looks Vantastic! Love the color. Welcome aboard. Not sure how that username wasn't taken already in a forum with so many folks, but congrats on that too!

That is a good looking van.

Are those factory mirrors? They seem different.

Nope they are those extendable power mirrors aftermarket made in Pendleton OR. I am gonna get rid of them and get regular truck mirrors. I don't tow anything.

I thought the only things made in Pendleton were blankets (really nice blankets)?
