WANTED SMB RB or EB Sprinter to Rent

Hi, Is your SMB Sprinter sitting around this August. I am looking to rent a RB or EB Sprinter for about a month. Just two of us, no dogs, no smoking and we have more than a little grey hair. Considering buying a Sprinter and have SMB converting it, but my wife wants to see if she likes driving and camping in one first. We have a mini van pop top camper and might like something larger.

Live in Northern California. I would have my insurance company, USAA, insure the vehicle to protect both of us. Prefer a 2007 or newer.

Check with USAA before you commit to a rental that isn't actually owned by a rental car company. They may not be willing to afford coverage to a car you don't own. The van owners insurance may also have issues with their insured renting the van out. Just a couple of things to check into. Good luck.

Thanks for the thoughts. I did check with USAA and they stated there is no problem with them adding a RV for me to rent from a private party or rental agency. I would get a certificate of insurance from USAA naming the owner and the owner or rental agency would get me a copy of their insurance certificate to send to USAA.
