I have been talking to them, very nice people, honest and straight forward. Its the layout I prefer, the only hang up is the manual top, talked to sportsmobile, without seeing it they estimate 10-12K to power the top.

There are pros to the manual stuff..
Costs less to buy
Fewer parts to break
Costs less to fix
Easier to work on
More reliable

Colorado Camper van does them too, with a power option.

As always appreciate the input, I found one other with a power top that might still be for sale. Shoulder issues so power is preferred.

Still looking
Bump
I have ordered a new AWD Transit, still looking while I wait for it. I have only found three in the past four months. One disappeared, the no power top has been relisted for 100K and Sportsmobile estimates 10-12K to retrofit with power. I tried to buy the one listed with Sportsmobile, can't close that deal with the owners, its complicated.

Please check with Amber at Colorado Camper Van. They often have a couple of customer vans for sale. She can also give you a quote on installing a CCV pop top (all are electric) on your ordered Transit.
PM me if any questions.

pop top
Thanks 1der, I have 7' 7" of garage height, that rules out the CCV tops. To my knowledge that limits me to Sportsmobile or GTRV tops. I checked the CCV site, they have some reasonable deals for those that are looking.

Keep fooling with vans and you'll soon have a bigger garage.
Good luck! I had a Transit ordered with Ford this past year too and they cancelled on me after I waited 10 months. Ford gets no more love from me.
