Check out REI on the chairs. If you break one they will replace it.

Re: Wtb Aluminess nerf bars and pico aluminum gci telescopin

I found several Amazon reviews that said the same thing about Pico's... dirt/grit/silt stops the legs from telescoping.

Outdoor chair? Actually no.

Even though I loved the concept and the chair was comfortable it cannot function as an outdoor chair unless outdoors means a flat clean patio or pavement. After about 3 outdoor uses it must have gotten a little dirt buildup in the telescoping legs so it no longer folds down. No amount of cleaning can fix it. This product cannot be realistically used in any outdoor setting where there is dirt sand or water. Returning it.

Re: Wtb Aluminess nerf bars and pico aluminum gci telescopin

Our experience with the Pico chairs has been quite good. They've been part of our van kit for a few years now and have seen lots of use in all sorts of non-paved environments. They are holding up well and working without issue. We really like the small storage footprint, they are reasonably comfortable, and have the essential beer holder.

Thanks goose. Can't get myself to spend $100 so still looking in the used or secondary market.

I have one and looking for another one for me wife. Like Gordon said the small storage footprint is most appealing. Also it's really lightweight.

So your wife bought you a brand new one but you are to cheap to buy her one?

If I was too cheap to buy her one I wouldn't post this ad. For that reason I don't understand your question.

Let me simplify this for you:

This WTB (want to buy) ad is because I WANT to buy a chair for her. Paying full retail is what I DON'T want to do.

How can there be profit, when you'd be paying for that maneuver for years to come?
