WTB, E350, V10 gas, 4x4, RB-50

Surf92lb-One project at a time, plus prob sticking to the V10's, GLWS. Makalu1-no, that would be a GTRV top, arctictraveler has one. Check out Coloradocampervan.com
1der's is featured with the mid top, I have the high top, I prefer the utility and added space, I know most go for the looks of the mid height.
This is mine....

Someone just posted an RB50 with brand new UJOR 4x4 conversion on the Sportsmobile group on Facebook. It has a 5.4 though, not a 6.8.

Thanks for spotting for me, mikracer. I also posted a WTB post on Facebook like I did here. I guess it worked because I have already been contacted by 3 people who were about to put their smb up for sale. Rick with his nice 5.4L rig on facebook was one.
So teach me about this. Is the 5.4 also a V8 by default? And is the 6.8 a V10 by default? Is that how it works? My main concern is that a bunch of folks on here have maintained the V8 is a bit underpowered for hard work and all that weight, so it became one of my criteria in my search.
Are their other good places to post my WTB that anyone can suggest?
What I am really hoping for is a van similar to the one COJC sold last December, and that price range would be Awesome.

There's also Sportsmobile Automobiles and Parts, as well as Sportsmobile West on facebook, but these pages are more for advertising and showing off, and I haven't seen folks selling on them.

The 5.4 is a V8 and the 6.8 is a V10. Some people say the V8 is a bit underpowered while others say it has enough power. I think if you have it properly geared for the tire size, most people would be ok with the V8.

I personally have a V10 but not because I wanted it. I wanted a Chateau model E350 and it was the only one I found. I love it now, but I would be just as happy with a V8 since I don't tow anything heavy. My van is also just a passenger van and not built out.

I have a 2005 RB50 4x4 that I'm thinking of selling. It has a fully bulletproofed 6.0 diesel that is very dependable, powerful, and better gas mileage than the v10. This van is fully loaded.

Thanks zephyr, but I'm going with a gas engine even if I have to wait longer. I appreciate the input, though.
