Is this of use to anyone before I pitch it?

I see the new version attaches to the battery terminal. This is designed to stick to the side of the battery. Since the double sided adhesive is still in tact I'd say it has never been used.

I need one!! I better check and see that I have the right plug on my unit but I am definitely in. I was just about to order one the other day. Getting ready to make the big wiring mess with all the bells and switches.
