Although my preference is still to have all of the comforts the van offers I think his minimalist setup is squared away.
Yep, I'm familiar with that guy. I think he lives in his?
Crazy.

Yes, they've been making them since 2012 or maybe earlier. John has built and sold around 350 of them. He still supports the Element platform too.

Thought he still had/has a van or two in the driveway?

But ya know JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket right?

OTOH that's a very cool option---I can see it being quite handy for a quick getaway for a full SMB owner who doesn't want to drag such a beast out for a quickie.

Looking forward to whatever progress you make on customizing this Scotty---please post a link here on SMB too for that.

Nice! I have a 2018 JKUR as a daily driver. I needed a new car and have always wanted a Wrangler. I didn't want the new JL so I ordered a JK before the order banks closed.

I have been toying with the idea of ditching the van and going with the Jeep + trailer option for camping. I haven't been able to pull the trigger on that yet though. I love my van!

This is mine on the road trip to Yosemite last year. Jeeps have a huge aftermarket and I'm trying to keep it mainly stock. I have added rock rails and a Gobi rack so far though.Click image for larger version

Years ago, someone here had the naivety to post "..and then I'm done spending money". You've only just begun on the mods. It's a sickness.

Welcome to the Dark Side.
Not quite as roomy as the E350 but a bit more capable.

Charlie,

Is that a table attached to your tow hitch?
