Annie O - that Underwood is one of my favorites on motorcycle camping trips but that forces me to drink the whole can in one sitting.
Card-board-oh for van trips. Good stuff to be had.

I've heard boxed wines have gotten serious since the days of Carlo Rossi. Any suggestions? I tried the Trader Joe's box merlot which is relatively new I understand. It was serviceable for a weeknight but not for guests. What amounts to almost four bottles at $12 or so isn't bad but it wasn't the best. The good part is that it lasts for 30 or 40 days after opening.

I had this problem when my arb was in the rear of the vehicle. I now keep it strapped in the front between the two seats and it has been dead quiet and nothing moves, even when it isn't full. The rear of the van sees a lot more vertical motion than the front, even with the best suspension and shocks available. We drive real hard offroad and have yet to have an issues with this configuration.

Pour Haus red blend from Total Wine is plenty good enough to drink in the van, Or at home when we get back from a trip. But generally I still wouldn't serve it to guests.

I have been considering the same location, what size ARB is that?
I have some concerns that if pulled over, I would be within arms reach of alcohol (would NEVER drink and drive), but technically I think it could be a "Open Container" concern, correct?
Thanks, Scott

My ARB cooler came with a couple of baskets to limit things rolling around. Maybe see if you can find some similar baskets to limit the amount of distance the beer cans can move.

This may be the answer - Was searching something completely unrelated, but this was included as one of those "purchased with" sales tactics...Think its a cool idea though...just get a couple and cut to fit the bottom of the cooler...

My cooler sits right over the rear axle so it gets jostled pretty bad. Every rock I roll over I can hear the cooler sloshing in the back when it's mostly water instead of ice.

These would definitely help keep beverages safe. I could also use them for rationing. Label each one Monday, Tuesday... Just like my pills. When one is empty I gotta wait until the next day for another beer.
