I've already committed to Ujoint. Maybe I'll give BO a try again in the future for other needs.

dig255 and marret, thank you for your offers. Let me think about it and I'll get back to you via PM.

What is the starting point for van transport? Where you located?
I am in LA, Ca. If this helps you run the numbers.
When do you need to have it there?

The van is in Boulder, CO (nearest airport Denver). The destination is Fletcher, NC (nearest airport Ashville). I need it there anytime in the middle of May.

I'm running out of white space on my calendar in April through July because I'll be traveling during those months except 3 weeks in May when my wife will be traveling for work. If dig255 can't do it, I could probably do it between May 5-9th. Closest airport for me is Springfield MO and the next closest is St Louis MO, about 2.5 hours.

Hi everyone. I want to update and close-out this thread.

First, thank you to several members who offered to drive my van. The prices were all reasonable and your reputations precede you. This is a great community.

In the end, I decided to drive it myself. The deciding factor was an opportunity to meet the UJOR team and make some final decisions on the build in person. The timing for the drive isn't great, due to business and personal factors, but I'll make the time anyway. If you have recommendations for awesome audio books, PM me.

Be careful! When I bought my van it was shipped to me and it showed up with the CB antenna completely ripped out and a solar panel completely shattered. The company was Mcelley Transport based in Dublin, OH.

Good job Opie...you'll not be disappointed all around! Excited for you to get things going!! GREAT trip back! All kinds of options to test things out and see some red soil and canyons! I suggest Dugway, Utah...out in the geode fields! Great desolate Pony Express route/dirt road, middle of nowhere, great prizes to find! Kinda on your way back...the "Loneliest HWY" across middle of Nevada is great too, LOTS of turnoffs/roads to explore! And ONE more thing (lol) get yourself the "Ultimate Campground" app on your phone/computer...another member suggested it, we downloaded it and MAN!!!!!!!!!!! NP, SP, BLM lands and all! Great way/BEST way to find out of the way camping, PERFECT for the SMB! Good luck!!

Funny you should mention Mokey Dugway. We were just there last week!

I'll download that app and check it out. Thanks for the tip.
