*Blushing* (not van related)

This is a bit unusual... Christine and I (and our little town of 288 folks) have been covered by the press in a variety of ways over the years, but this one is kind of cool for us. Scroll down to 4 p.m. on Day Two, and BAM! there we are, in the dang Wall Street Journal. My father is a subscriber and is sending us the print original, which, to me anyway, is really the best way to see it.

EDIT: Christine sez we occupied the Wall Street Journal

That is awesome Marc & Christine! You can't put a price on advertising like that!

Very cool, but while we've seen a number of pics of furniture being built and of the finished product, I don't recall seeing any pics of painted wooden fish....

Somehow I don't feel Christine is the shy type, so what gives?

Catfish restaurant? Now that sounds better than painted fish.

This link is to the "Christine's Art" page on our website. In the bottom left corner, you'll see examples of her wooden fish. I cut 'em out and she paints 'em... about 300 per year. Look around on the rest of the website for more stuff that we do.

Oh, and Christine reminds me to shamelessly self-promote by giving you a link to currently available wooden fish, etc.

Thats really cool Marc, congrats...

Christines fish are super cool, think Nemo but much cooler and more unique...
We plan to buy a school someday for our home office when I finish it...

We also want to visit Taylor someday hopefully next year, it seems like a great place... I hear there is a really great movie studio there too I am surprised the paper didnt say anything about that...

8 or 10 years ago, we got written up in the "Federal Reserve Board Magazine", of all places. I don't think we were able to attribute a single sale to that article. Hmmmm, 'sup with that?

Clearly you weren't asking enough for your furniture and art. With that crowd, more expensive = better. BTW, Christine's art is great.

BTW, who's the guy on your furniture page? It can't be you, since the guy is wearing a shirt with sleeves.

Marc

If you were to cut out a wood shape that resembled Gnarvan and Christine painted it I would buy it. Custom market here at the SMB Forum you've been ignoring. I'm feeling so left out.
