Back in 2011 - just before the Texas fires that swept so many homes down to their concrete pads that summer - my wife and I lost our house in SC in late July. I lost 30 years of photos taken from my world travels which generated income that paid for these travels - and of course we lost 30 years of our lives together. About 10 days later due to that event and scrounging thru the ashes to save what I could in 105 degree humidity - the cardiologist cracked my chest open for a triple bypass. As I lay in CIU/Recovery - I cried as I saw all of those Texas homes gone in a flash - and wished I could have been driving down there in my SMB to help somehow - I didn't care about my predicament at that moment. I just wanted to help down there -- Feelin' that way again with the victims of the CO fires --
