Camping near BC/Idaho border?

Hello!

I'm about to set off on a trip through British Columbia to visit family; on the way back down we're taking highway 95 south from Banff and into Idaho.

Can anyone recommend a nice campground near the BC / Idaho border? Creston, Bonners Ferry, etc.



We tend to camp in national/provincial/state parks, or similar. Looking for something not too far off the main road (maybe 30 minutes or so) since it's a long drive home already

Spent a really great night on the B.C. side at the Yaak campground, about 10 minutes from the border. This was June. Campsites right on a river. I hope to hit that one again.

Thanks very much Nomadcat! That sounds like a good spot - I might never have seen it, considering it's so small on the map.

Sounds like this is where we'll stay, but anyone else please feel free to add your recommendations, too. It's nice to have a few choices / backups.
