Did this exactly one time after using said eco friendly cans and spilling gas everywhere. CARB is drunk with power. LOL
I look for old school gas cans now at yard sales and such.

I had a plastic 5g can that was just about done. The old cap and spout were still good and threaded on to the new "CARB approved" gas can perfectly because CA politicians are too stupid to understand what threads are. I drilled a hole and installed a tire valve, with the core removed, for a vent.

I should put a sticker on it.

I throw the older style ones out 5 at a time because I'm so good at running stuff out of gas and having to buy the damn things at convenience stores. After being forced to buy one of the new type a year or two ago I started bungeeing a 2 gallon under most of my vehicles (empty) so I don't have to buy one. I don't seem to be getting any better at just putting gas in stuff before I run it out.

I agree most of the CARB compliant fuel jugs are terrible. But the No-Spill cans actually work really well especially for small engines and anything that has a horizontal fill cap. They don't work as well on vehicles with vertical fill caps, but adding a flexible hose to them makes them better at it. The pour rate is much better then most.

Agree. I have one of these and it's pretty awesome.
