Re: DaveB is my Hero
Don is a great guy! Camped with him many times. Always helpful.
DaveB isn't all that bad either, but he snores!

^^^ all that!
have only met a few of the local smb owners, but each one was wiling to take time out of their day just to let my wife and i check out their rigs for build ideas. all right around the holidaze. i knew when i stumbled onto this forum i had found a goldmine for building our van, but then i started realizing how great the actual members were

Re: DaveB is my Hero
Hey Angel I did help 4x4sporty out of their dilemma but Don & his wife put them up at their place for the weekend... wow. Friends do what they do. So who is the hero here? I did enjoy meeting them as did Don & Helen but I don't want to take the all the credit. At least we all have some good friends back east.
BTW we all love ya Angel....hope to camp with you again soon

Re: DaveB is my Hero
If I send you there Joe will shoot me!
All joking aside, G street auto is mainly a automotive shop owned by two brothers who were introduced to me by Don. Because I trust Joe, Tony and their team, they get all my work that their shop is equipped to do such as all the maintenance work. If you want diesel bullet proofing work done, J's performance Diesel in Fresno seems to be doing a lot of work on Sportmobile's with 6.0's. Zylstra's did a great job on my vans engine but Visalia is a long haul.
I was just glad that Joe got Jim and his wife back on the road w/o too much trouble. Like Jim said "thank God for this Forum" and I know how it feels being stranded away from home. Even just a reassuring comment from a local member about where to take your vehicle for repair sheds a lot of stress when you're out and about.
