Re: Deleted Facebook!!
My twenty-something year old daughters thought Dad should have a Facebook, to be cool I guess. Mom had one so Dad should have one, right? They made me an account that I had for a week or so. I never got on. My daughters would get on and let me know who was trying to contact me. The first person to want to be my 'friend' was an old high school girl friend who wanted to catch up. I didn't hear the end of that one for a while. The next person was an old employee who was busted on a felony account for stealing company property. I told my daughters to delete it! I'm not sure if it still exists. That was several years ago and I've never checked. I may not be cool because I don't have a Facebook account, but I have a SMB. That makes me cool, right?
Mike

Re: Deleted Facebook!!
Never had one. Seems to be a sort of digital version of a "mugbook"......remember those? Of course they only had pictures of criminals in them...after they had been caught. With Facebook and Twitter I guess you can pre-expose yourself to the authorities BEFORE you get caught! Big time waster IMOP.
Now I have got to get off this forum and back to work.
Chris
ps...tapatio you are now awsomerest

Good luck with that... maybe texting

Re: Deleted Facebook!!
Let me tell you, I'd be a Facebook fan for life, if I were this guy. 23 year old CEO of some other social media site was offered $3 BILLION by Facebook, and turned it down.
I'd be cashing that check, and wouldn't look back.

After taxes it's hardly enough to buy a small island!

Buit in a minute. Can be gone in a minute. How anyone would pay an astronomical multiple for vapor ware is beyond me, but what do I know? Synergies. Bunch of MBA BS.

I agree, that's why I'd cash out of that nonsense. Amazing how you can sell shares of a company that has no revenue.

Reminds me of the dot com run up of early 2000.
That guys a fool for not taking $3B. Like webbmac said it can evaporate in a minute. He's doing IVP a disservice by not taking the offer since they bought in at the bargain price of $800M and can make like a bandit now. Effin greedy. But what can you expect from a 23 year old genius.
