Dropping off my van at SMB West tomorrow

With some trepidation and lots of excitement, I am dropping off my 06 Sprinter for a mild conversion tomorrow. Please wish me luck.

Re: Dropping off my van at SMB West tomorrow

It's in Jonathan's capable hands now.

This phase of the conversion includes loncoin flooring, cabinets (solid surface with molded sink), and gaucho bed. No infrastructure (propane, electric or water) at this point.

My overall plan for the van is more Traveller-style than full conversion. I am retaining the orig driver's and navigator's seats. I am also retaining the first row of bench seating, and placing the cabinets and gaucho behind it.

When I get it back, I will take and post pix.

Other news I gleaned from my visit this morning
• An agent of Jimmy's pick-up up the JB van, so it is no longer there to gawk at. Apparently there
are more SMB's in the works for the Margaritavillians.
• The really sweet red Sprinter 4X4 looks even better in person than it does in the SMB ad.
It ranks pretty highly on my list of coolest things I have ever seen.
