Re: "EDC"

Bumper sticker that says: Wife left, dog died, unemployed and living in a van down by the river. Are you sure you want to mess with me?

Re: "EDC"

This is an interesting thread. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who carries certain things "just in case." I started open carrying a loaded firearm DAILY back in January 2008 (when I lived in Delaware). Had to use it in self defense that same November (right before Thanksgiving). Since then I moved to Pennsylvania where I mostly conceal carry (have my PA LTCF) but sometimes open carry.

Here's my EDC (sorry, no photo yet):

Pockets: Wallet, Keys, CUTCO Lockback folding knife, iPhone

On belt (in double-pouch): extra magazine (either 10- or 16-round, depending), Streamlight Scorpion flashlight

If open carry: Springfield Armory XD-9 service in a SERPA Level II holster

If concealed carry: Springfield Armory XD-9 sub-compact in a Crossbreed SuperTuck holster
