I would just use it as is and make sure you do the fluids and properly document the maintenance - I would not spend any more on this unit unless you really know your gonna keep it for a long time and use it a lot - just get out there and make memories- if your wanting a 4x4 sprinter start saving your money those are in short supply out west anyway and gonna cost more than whatcha got - safe travels

Other thing to read up on is the 6L ford diesel...Search on bulletproofing 6.0 diesel etc...Lots of info out there. This is still young, and there is a lot to know re that engine. Enjoy the ride
