Fantastic beer, in my top 5 IPAs. Their Hop Rod is another favorite of mine.

Black Butte Porter or Obsidian Stout, Tillamook Vanilla Bean ice cream, chocolate sauce, blender. Press purée. Voila - beershake! Yum.

Re: Favorite Beers
Add the Brickhouse Brewery in Copper Harbor, MI to the list. It's home to several flavors, great labels and the one and only UP IPA ("great to drink and fun to say")

Re: Favorite Beers
I like Miller Lite but for the last 2 years have performed in a German band at the Lake Elsinore Octoberfest and really fell in love with a microbrew from http://www.craftbrewingcompany.com/. It is a rasberry flavored brew. The kind of brew I would normally hate. We have to drink a lot on stage and that beer tasted good even warm. Last weekend I had to substitute tea for beer because the Octoberfest gig at noon to two was in Palm Springs and the evening swing gig was at 6 in Santa Barbara. I hate warm tea but DUI 's are worse.
