Giant snow storm - Does it call you?

I'm just curious if anyone has the same crazy thought to take to the hills knowing its going to snow 3 feet. I'm thinking of heading up to Mt St helens and riding it out.

I’m always up for an adventure and I’m passing Portland tomorrow, but the idea of getting buried in three feet of snow sounds like it could end up creating a lot of work.

No kidding around, I drive through a blizzard about once a week. Along with a crew of buddies we chase storms all winter. Wife hates it so she rarely comes as she says we are insane. I don't feel insane. Driving in a whiteout sucks but waking up to a lot of snow is like Christmas morning over and over again. It helps we tow snowmobiles with us.

My daughter is down with it. We are taking 2 summit g4's tomorrow!

That’s generally the only times I head out these days with work being so busy. Really the only downside is clearing the roofs before heading back. Took me almost 2 hours to clear the van and trailer from the snow event 2 weeks ago. Fortunately I didn’t need to shovel the ground too. Was able to drive right out of this.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good storm, but I don’t think anyone is going to drive directly out of 3 feet of new snow. If I had no plans of going any further though, it could be great fun.

Storm chasing is for sure on the agenda next winter after we get a heater in it.

Just got home from 2 days at Stevens pass. They claim 24” in the last 48 hours!
Hard to measure as it was pretty windy. But no matter the amount, the riding was pretty great!
And snow camping is always fun!
