Re: Happy Independence Day!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy Fourth of July. Here's some pics of the United States Air Force Thunderbirds at the Helena Montana Airshow from last weekend, June 27th.

Both pics taken by Mrs. Ed in Montana at Carroll College, eight blocks east of our Sportsmobile home base.

Re: Happy Independence Day!

Nice! The first pic almost looked like DV minus 3 jets.

Re: Happy Independence Day!

It was a fun 4th in Valdez.

A big parade - Police cars, Boy Scout Troop, 25 kids on bicycles, a pedal ice cream cart, a small powered ice cream cart, Fire Trucks - with all the vehicles throwing candy to the kids watching. Street vendors selling all kinds of homemade stuff - I gott some jellies and soaps. The workers from the seafood cannery setting off fireworks (right next to the campground) from 7-11, town fireworks from 11-11:45 followed by some fishing boats setting off their own for 20 minutes after that. Great small town celebration.
