Happy non-denominational winter holiday!
Whatever it is you celebrate, or even nothing at all, I thought I'd start a thread to say just what the title says. Hoping everyone in our little community has a nice holiday weekend and that you drive your van somewhere nice. I'll be using mine to cart family around but at least I'll be in it. Given that the branch of the family I'll be visiting are teetotalers by nature I'll be visiting my van a few times a day to get beer out of the 'mobile garage fridge'.
Happy Christmas and all that!

Having never been on a forum before, I tentatively joined here just over a year ago, 13 months to be precise. It's been a great experience, thank you to you all.
Flint took Laura and I to the beach yesterday, from San Francisco south to Pescadero and back. Not far, but there are a lot of nice beach access points along the way. I took this picture at San Gregorio State Beach just south of Half Moon Bay. Not made by me, but something left behind by someone else, waiting there for me to share it with all of you.

It's all good at the end of the year. Happy Hannukah, Merry Christmas, Happy Solstice (yay, it's getting lighter up here in our northern climes). So happy to have had the pleasure of getting to know you folks and gained a lot of knowledge along the way. What a great group!
Wish I had a picture of my van in a wintry, holiday setting, but I don't. So, I'll offer you one of what I know best: boats, and what I see out on my deck during this wonderful season. Best of everything to you folks for the New Year. Let us all enjoy the wonderful freedom we have in these vans, seeing the world that so many people never get to see.
With friendship,
Otter

There certainly is a lot to be thankful for. Cheery Christmas, it's a great community here.
Wishing all the best in the coming year, and safe travels.
