Love how the corkscrew changes the dynamics and flow of every race. Brings almost everyone to a grinding halt as they crest that hill before dropping down.
BTW, did you know Chuck Atkinson (BC Broncos) when his business was in Apple Valley?

If you look at that video with the corkscrew...there was an accident and it slowed everybody way down. The other video which shows just me driving also goes through the corkscrew (at speed). If you look at the steering wheel, you'll see it...and hear it!
It's pretty crazy that the race course drops away so fast and steep, that as a driver, you cannot see the right hand turn. You have to pick a tree, or an outhouse, or something to aim the car at until it noses over.
I don't know Chuck.

Re: Hauling porsches - Split from Racetrack, Death Valley Gr
I've only been to a race at Laguna once (Superbike race) but it's really sweet to set up right there by the corkscrew. It's nonstop action there and separates the men from the boys.
I like the sound of that car too!
I worked corners for a few Porsche Club events when I was about 20. I got to ride in a 911 race car for a few laps one time. What a rush!

Is our Bronco going to fit in your trailer? You could back it up on the nose of one of those silly little slope nosed cars.

badass man. the car delivery is sweet, but getting to run some of those cars and driving the one you do, the way you get to...ya, im a just a little jealous. <-- understatement!

I'm not sure. It's long! I guess I'll find out when I get up there next week. Where is it going?
