Greetings, after much hesitation, we have decided to sell our van. It is hard to gauge pricing on these, and I am hoping for some advise from all of you. My problem is I think it is probably worth more than it is, but it has been my baby for going on 6 years. So hear goes....
It is a 2009 E350 XLT RB with a 5.4L, 114k miles, passenger van. It started life in the NE as a shuttle for a hotel. A couple from Wyoming bought it in 2011 and took it to Quigley for the 4x4 conversion. Believe they said it had 50k miles on it (have an email to Quicgley asking for info). They used it to transport church missionaries back and forth to Mexico.
I bought it from them in 12/12 with 83k miles. I stripped the interior and in 2013 I took it to SMB west and had them install an electric pop top. I have the 2 piece bed panel, and it was color matched to the van. I also got a swivel base for the passenger seat.
Around 10/15, I dropped it off at Van Specialties outside Portland for the interior build. I liked the Westphalia/RB50 design and our build is similar. We installed (2) 100 watt solar panels and batteries on the frame rails. These power basically everything in the van. There is an inverter, Dometic 3.8 fridge, flush mount sink w/12 gallon holding tank, roll over sofa (74"), cabinets for pantry & clothes. Entire inside was insulated and lonpoint flooring installed.
I have also installed Aluminess front bumper, rear bumper, deluxe box, bike rack swing arm, and ladder. There are Yakima wide body mounts for a roof top rack. Currently has (2) 1up USA bike racks, but I would like to keep those.
Some other options are a under floor storeage box, CVT awning (barely used), tow hitch, Pioneer double din stereo, remote start, Hella lights. The tires are LT285/70R/17 Deantire AT and they have less than 9k miles on them. Oh yeah, I also have the Agile RIP kit.
Last year we did a 70 day road trip, and the year before, a 50 day in this. We feel we have everything dialed in for the next owner. There is no stove in the van, as we prefer to cook outside.
Overall the vans exterior is in great shape. There are a few dings and scrapes, but the paint looks new. Since I have owned it, it has always been stored in my garage. I have been religious on keeping up with maintenance.
Sorry for the long winded message. Hope this provides enough info to properly assess a fair price. I am not wanting to give it away, but I also do not want to have the sale process go on and on.
Thanks for the help, Greg
Here are some random photos. Many others in my album.
