How do you clean your SMB floor?

Hi
A question I have been wondering is how you clean your SMB floor. Especially if you have the lino with round dots all over, you know the one? I notice in kcrain's new build you have this sort of floor...

I have this kind of floor in my Homemade "Rig"

and have been wondering how best to clean and protect from abuse. Cargo with sharp edges and muddy kids feet etc...

I just spray it with 409 cleaner and scrub it with paper towels. If it's real bad, I'll hit it with a soft brush and then wipe up. Just the wife and I though, no kids or dogs. Probably doesn't get as dirty as some.

Use this cleaner called simple green spray it on let it sit about 5 minutes and wipe it clean with damp rag. It's an awesome cleaner for any and everything.

Saabman .
After cleaning you might consider cutting some color coordinated commercial carpet to protect and keep clean , this also is a nice option to have on cold mornings as well being able to shake out while you are at your campsite . I had SportsMobile make one up for our EB-50 , very useful !

Yes the carpet idea had crossed my mind the only thing is it should be well fixed so as not to slide about... How is yours held in place Greggde? Poppers or Velcro?

Loose lain and cut out to follow the contours of the cabinetry inside the van . Their is no movement whatsoever , and is very easy to remove for cleaning both on the road and at home after a trip . I usually pull it out and lay on garage floor for a thorough vacuuming at trips end . I had them do this because of past experience's with various vinyl flooring being so slippery both underfoot and under gear
It also saves the floor from being scratched and gouged from sand and small rocks that accompany our
travels . Try It You'll Like It !

I use the interlocking foam squares that you can buy at auto stores or Costco to protect our floor. They are inexpensive (~ $15), easy to cut out to your floor plan and you can just pull them out and hose them off when needed. They are also really comfortable on your feet and provide great insulation. This is actually one of the best additions we have made. Here is a bad picture:

That could be interesting. I have the loose carpet kit, but I wonder if the adding the foam squares would help with reducing noise and heat. Or, maybe it would make walking too "squishy". Please let us know how it goes.
