How to tow a boat?

I was thinking about buying a boat to tow behind my SMB. Is this the right way to do it?

Video won't imbed - click on the link in the header.

Definitely not. I didn't see anyone steering the boat.

I found it works better if you have a trailer
It does suck when you're pulling a boat & you look in the mirror and see a mark on the asphalt behind you but there's nothing on the road in front of you

I think his ex wife asked him to tow her boat as a favor to her. And he happily obliged. She should have been more specific and asked him to trailer it.
