Adventureduo, Thanks for the info.
The LC80 is for me a great car for hot and dry areas where you live outside.
Now, I plan to get in various climatical areas so looking after a cosy inside space.
Hope finding as much pleasure with a van, from what I read on this forum...
I am sure it will be the case.

Any export/import issues? I know there are issues with registering in Canada because it's an RV (It's a Canadian thing, not U.S.)

What I have seen until now, the pollution restrictions in Switzerland are the points to carefully look into and it may cost big bucks to get it in order. Add to it some upgrades to the lights and other minor steps.
But I am still enquiring to make sure I don't have (or reduce) last minutes surprises.
Anyhow, I am plannind to bring it back as moving items, which allows me to skip most of the restrictions. But to act like that, I will have to move to the states for at least 6 months and have the van registered under my name... hard life, need to kill 6 months by travelling thru the states!!!

Andrew, if/when you do that, consider including the Pacific Northwest on your itinerary!

Will plan it, thanks for the tip and the welcome.
Once the plan is about to start, I will read in detail the trip reports on the forum and be glad to get advice from the members on the trails to do and areas to see. Still time ahead.
