Are the comments in blue (on the blog) about the weight smoothing out the ride and such, actual comments by the person who created this monstrosity? How did you get access to get the detail pictures showing the wood block, etc.? Sounds like there is more to the story!

They are the comments as far as I know. This was sent to me by a friend. I am sure he got it somewhere else but I will check.

Been around since I was using usenet in college... the comments are "newer" than the photos.
