Garage
Around here that's a gang symbol except there on the power lines.
Maybe there is a rural gang around close by

I suppose in some circles it might be considered a shrine to the all-powerful gods of footware.

If you ever ski/snowboard at Mammoth Mountain in California, there is a tree below one the lifts that is similar to that. The only difference is that instead of shoes, it is bras hanging from the tree.

I just came by the one in Nevada this past weekend. It is on highway 50, east of Fallon and just east of Sand mountain. If anyone is traveling on Highway 50, there is a turn just east of the shoe tree. It is called highway 722, or the Carol Summit Rd. It is the old highway 50 and goes over Carol Summit. It comes out just west of Austin NV. It is a great road and there is no traffic on it. I came home that way. It's about 70 miles long and we didn't see a single car. oclv
