A field report by an alleged eye witness to the persons who removed it. I could only find this as a FaceBook post but here is the link.

I can vouch for this guys account of the incident. I was parked in a wash less than half a mile from the site that night and heard a loud bang (must have been when they tipped it over). There were only 3 vehicles parked along the road near the site at this time of night. The only vehicle that could carry 3 10 foot sheets of metal was a chevy pickup parked up there. The wheelbarrow detail makes sense too, since I saw a skinny single tire track leading to the site and then a fat (loaded up) single tire track leading back to the road when I hiked to the site in the morning.

Fun adventure even though I didn't see the metal structure for myself (just the triangle top i found in the mud in the morning) and honestly glad it's gone since the place was getting tore up from everyone parking on the side of the road and walking everywhere destroying vegetation and the desert floor. Plus the plane crash site and native American ruins just up the road are way cooler haha

The removal was photographed. The crew said it was litter and attracting too many people.

Another one has popped up. I'll enhance the adventure by letting people find it for themselves.

People be people right? Too many have no apprecation for how somewhat fragile the desert environment and landscape really is, especially when careless humans are bigfooting their way on, over and through it.

I did get a small chuckle though---not too often ancient ruins OR a plane crash site are "way cooler".

I find stuff like this way cooler than modern art. The natives of the USA are so under valued by most but we use their language and land as if we were always here. If I ever found someone desecrating these sites I might go full postal and land in jail.

I mentioned crop circles and pretty much like those ran out of "being fun" after so much over exposure---this thing here in the USA is on its 14th minute of fame----I hope.
