I m sorry. To hear about your. Reminds of when I was living in an old dodge. Van in so cal. I the 70’s. Everything I had was I the van. It didn’t get stolen. Lucky me. If I ever manage to get the dream sportsmobile. I am gonna put multiple anti theft devices on that. Sucker.

What the heck is a “ Unicorn”? Even not knowing, you did give me a good laugh! Thanks for that. I own a 2005 SMB, chevy express EB. Love the thing! I wonder why he’s not considering something larger.
Likely that would be a lifetime keeper? Mine is, at least until I can’t drive anymore, lol!

EATMOREFISH,
Hi, I actually bought my van from Lost Wages! Had no idea that this was so common ( apparently everywhere?) Really makes you wonder if the advent of the “ Tiny House” movement has encouraged this
activity? There do seem to be a lot more folks living
in their vans lately. Even the girl I bought mine from
was doing that!, but it was spotless when I picked it up! Only problem was that she’d removed the entire
propane system...fearful of effects on the cancer she
already had. By the time I found that out it was a done deal! So much for self-sufficient!
Being an absolute nube didn’t help much, but I’ve
learned. There’s more than one way to be ripped off!
That said, it’s a really nice van...high top, extended,
Chevy Express in great physical and functional shape. No doubt it’s worth more now than when I bought it. Glad I have it now, and it’s incredibly comfy
to drive. Living where I do, fire is a huge hazard!! It’s nice to know you have both a way to escape, and something to live in if the house goes!
I hope jbro manages to get his van fixed up nearly as well as it was before ( if not better). Just ranbling today I think.....
Happy Travels,
ConnieKat
