Re: Remodel!!

Going with option 1 - "large shower with bench seat and two separate shower heads and controls". Using Limestone throughout including floor. I bought two Delta 142710-RB-1 shower valves. $218/ea

Re: Remodel!!

Man I'm right in the middle of this crap. Two bathrooms with the guest bath only having a 4x5 small shower. In the 5x8 master bath I have a bench seat. I went with Moen valves b/c of the removable cartridge but others are starting to offer that. Two shower heads (one at each end) and a wand. I wanted full flow control on the water. Seems there are a lot of either full on or off type controls out there and although you can get some control from the shower heads, I wanted flow control valves.

Moen TS4211 Double Handle Moentrol Pressure Balanced with Volume Control and Diverter Valve Trim from the Rothbury Collection
Finish: Oil Rubbed Bronze
$207.90 1 $207.90

Moen S113 14" Shower Arm with 1/2" Connection from the Waterhill Collection
Finish: Oil Rubbed Bronze
$90.39 1 $90.39

Moen T2605 Single Handle Moentrol Pressure Balanced and Volume Control Shower Trim with Single Function Showerhead from the Vestige Collection
Finish: Oil Rubbed Bronze
$253.19 1 $253.19

Moen 3520 1/2" CC (Copper to Copper) Moentrol Rough-In
Finish: NA
$98.50 1 $98.50

Moen 3330 1/2" CC (Copper to Copper) Connection Valve
Finish: NA
$165.53 1 $165.53

I shopped around and got a better deal on the prices than shown. Went with copper sinks and a couple of Toto heads. In the laundry room I put in a 60 min timer on the exhaust fan and I kind of wish I would have done the same being they are so quiet but those in the baths have lights so I'll know they're on. It's an adventure in progress and expensive for sure but I didn't go too high quality. I couldn't believe the prices on some of that stuff Made me cut down on the road trips and eat more potatoes.

Re: Remodel!!

Yup, Delta and Moen. I would like to keep this condo all Delta (check out their magnatite DeLuca kitchen faucet), but am doing at least partly Moen Darcy at our new fixer upper where I would consider doing something as high end as daveb.
BSM, you are a very efficient guy. I looked into those combo units but passed. Good price. Good functionality and we want to turn this condo into a kinda higher end rental so if the valves are the same Delta quality, I am rethinking and will likely go your route.

Thanks guys. (I don't know about you all, but my life is a fixer upper...)
