Renting Jet Skis at Lake Powell?

Going to hit Page AZ on Tuesday and then camp near Waheap Marina... anyone know of a good place to rent a few personal jet skis (not the 4 seat mini-boats)?

Should I expect to find a deal on a weekday?

There a couple of rental places in Big Water Utah about 5 miles from Wahweep. Not as convienent as the marina as you have to tow and launch etc but MUCH cheaper. Also the morning line at the marina can take a couple hours to get through if the crowds are still there. Have fun.

Yes, can be an ordeal renting them from a place off the lake. Towing, launching, parking. Not that big of a deal, but launch ramps can get busy esp. on weekends. Might be easier to rent them at the marina. For camping and a unique experience at the lake, check out lone rock beach down there. Can get crowded, and might not be the solitude you are looking for at Powell, but can be fun. We have a boat at Powell that we launch at bullfrog, and have explored and camped in most of it's canyons and usually are looking for uncrowded beaches, but we were down in page and went to lone rock and made some new friends with another SMB. It's a drive on beach where people can camp and have all their water toys, boats and wave runners, right there in the water. So if you rented some over at the marina you could beach them at your spot at lone rock and explore some of the southern canyons from there. Head over to the dam and use the cut to get north and check out some canyons. Have fun
