Road conditions thread...

Thought it would be cool to have a thread where folks could post the current road/ weather conditions as they pass through some of the more mountainous areas. Sometimes the phone aps aren’t always the best way. A pic or two would be nice as well.

Anyone know (from experience) what the current road conditions are on Hwy 88 through Kirkwood?

I use the Cal-trans website in CA:
Division of Traffic Operations - Road Information - California Highway Information

Just enter the route. For 88 it says:
This highway information is the latest reported as of Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 16:25 .
SR 88

[IN THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA & SIERRA NEVADA]
NO TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS ARE REPORTED FOR THIS AREA.

Some states use "511" variations for road conditions.

^^^ yep, idaho uses 511 as well.

Google maps is suprisingly accurate as well regarding car wrecks and temporarily closed roads.
