Unfortunately (or may be luckily) I do not have any great stories to tell about the dogs. However, they love traveling in the van and camping. The Aussie actually gets incredibly nervous and neurotic whenever we pack up for a trip, he is always worried that he is not going with us.
Magnus, our 13 year old Australian Shepherd and Snorkel, our now 8 month old (6.5 months in the picture) Portuguese Water Dog puppy. Can you tell that they are tired?

ROONIG & NOMADCAT - what are your dog's name?
PJPVI - What breed is Oreo, is it a border collie?
This is Azlo, our 10 month old chocolate lab. He now rides between us on his custom carpeted platform I made or on the floor at times. This last trip he managed to snag a bottle of superglue from a shelf and chew it up on the floor. The floor is scarred but he was fine, he had a bit in his mouth and somehow also got it on his back.
Another raken during a hellacious windstorm in DV.
PJPVI - What breed is Oreo, is it a border collie?
When we bought him we were told Australian Shepard / Border Collie mix. We didn't believe it and had a doggy DNA test done. This was the results. We very much believe the Bernese Mountain Dog / Springer Spaniel mix.
% of DNA / Breed
20-36 / English Springer Spaniel
10-19 / Bernese Mountain Dog
10-19 / Boxer
10-19 / Chow Chow
<10 / Irish Setter
<10 / Poodle
<10 / Rottweiler
This is Talus, our 10-year old Belgian Shepherd / Lab cross. Whenever we are packing for a trip, she is not comfortable unless she is in the van. She'll stay out there for hours the night before departure, until we reluctantly bring her in for the evening.
She often dictates where we travel, usually requesting an ocean beach or a lake.
