That looks like the memory foam that we use. I roll ours up tightly and secure it with 3 adjustable web straps. It then goes in a large duffel from REI along with the pillows. It still takes up room but isn't in the way all of the time.

Yep the memory foam we got from Costco. My wife hates it since it is in the way all the time and it weighs a ton. I love it since I sleep very well with it and it is soooo comfortable. The hassle is storing it so it isn't in the way. I will try your duffel bag idea but storage is always at a premium in our van with a family of 4.

Scribbles gets a trim before each trip. Normal nail clippers and some patience and you can avoid mutilating your kitty.

I won't get on the but as you can guess I'm wholly opposed to declawing!

May I suggest nail trimmers for cats.


They are fairly cheap and and work better with claws that regular nail trimmers.
