Re: Sleepless in Seattle

Hey Paddle
When you drive back home let me know I'll buy dinner! Would love to see a Ujoint conversion in person.
I'm in Yakima

Buck

Re: Sleepless in Seattle

Sorry bud I am having the van shipped back home on a flatbed truck. I do how ever go over there and fish on the yak and whitewater paddle on the CleElum and Cooper every year for a few weeks. I'll let you know when I go.

When it is shipped, record the mileage before shipment and check it after. Some unscrupulous shippers will drive it to save on fuel, then call and say they are broken down 50 miles away and ask if they can drive the rest of the way.

Re: Sleepless in Seattle

Got it off the truck yesterday morning. Waited about an hour and decided I better go get it dirty.

Luckily there was zero diesel in the tank so the driver did not go on a joy ride, he did say that about 100 photos were taken as he drove around the country.

In the 6 hours I was out yesterday I had 3 people walk up at various places and let me know they were suffering from a bad case of envy.
