Re: SMB Sightings

Some of these are already on our gallery page but here they are again…silver SMB in ALaska past Tok, Pschitt High Boy on the Dalton by the Yukon River Bridge, maybe a SMB honorable mention?, and this crazy German dude in Whitehorse with the real deal for long adventures in Siberia!

Re: SMB Sightings

Spotted a nice white RB SMB in North Hollywood this morning. Tried to get a photo but I had just got in my car after coming out my account.

It had a orange cone on the rear bumper.

Also spotted a white. Chevy SMB 4x4 getting the suspension worked on up in San Fernando.

Thanks for posting that picture ctb! Unfortunately, I don't have on of your van...
No honorable mention since VivaLaVida in not a SMB, just a custom build...

Goose,
I have talked to that guy before. IIRC he lives in Santa Monica or Venice.

Pschtt!!! Well of coarse yo know it was us, but I just found this thread and wanted to acknowledge seeing a legend!!! I have been on the site more and more, and have been checking out your gallery and trip reports and have seen that you are a true SMB owner or maybe better, an SMB owner that use their vehicle like most of us wish we would! I truly enjoy living vicariously through them!! More importantly, making plans and believing we can use our vehicle in ways we might be afraid or a little timid about doing…great stuff…NEXT time, I'll stop and we can get the know-down on a fellow SMB owner extrodinair!

Re: SMB Sightings

Saw a gray one (PH and a ladder on the driver's side) towing a cargo trailer around 5:30 pm on CA 118W in the Northridge area. I was in my Prius, so you probably didn't see me.
