Thanks for the pics & guidance. Rainbow Rim was exquisite. Camped outside Brian Head now w/a bit of a signal. Headed towards Thunder Mountain early next week. Will add to trip report when we have a better signal.

Cool beans. I'm camped at the empty equestrian campground at the top of Thunder Mountain as I type. Great signal as well. Riding TM and Cassidy Trail tomorrow and then heading to Ogden, Logan, and Jackson, WY in that order.
While this spot is great for ease of access there is awesome boondocking just past the Losee Canyon trailhead. Losee-Cassidy is also a good loop. Glad to hear Rainbow worked out. Awesome trail and nice camping. Did you see any new trail going in?

Spent most of yesterday on 395 south myself. My entire trip to Oregon and back, I only saw three SMBs, including only one on 395, which has to be some kind of (low) record.

Re: SMB Sightings
We had a white one on the 210 in Pasadena on our way to Kennedy Meadows for the night and then the tan one on the 395 before we headed up to Cerro Gordo. I agree the 395 always has SMB's on it.

Got passed by my clone today on 50 in central Nevada. Beige/gold/champagne colored SMB pop top with a spare and box on the back......THEN 20 minutes later another one just like it!!!? You waved. Am I crazy?
Anyone here?
Yeah, I'm here. That was us. Just got home last nite. Spent five days working on the Central Overland emigrant trail across Nevada.
Are you crazy? Probably, but who am I to judge....

Cool Scatter, were you the one with lots of stickers on the back or the one that waved real big and happy at us?

Re: SMB Sightings
Scatter, cool and thanks!
Joe, I can't remember his name but I think he lives in Jackson. We met him there last summer.
