Was on Oregon 205 south of French Glenn headed to meet some friends in Fields on October 4th. Saw a nice looking Sportsmobile headed north about 10:30 am.

Had my first chance encounter with a forum member (other than at Overland Expo).

Met member "tlg" at a parking lot on the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday. Was complementing him on his nice van, an Outside Vans conversion and he asked if I was a forum member. We gave each other quick tours of our respective vans before parting ways.

Chris, Ruth and us popped into Gold Lake, CA 4x4 campground this weekend for a beautiful three days! Had the great fortune to meet forum member Scatter. He had the best site in the area and left the morning after we arrived. We moved in as quickly as we could!!

Bill’s rig was great looking! Hope to meet up with him again!

Not what you would normally consider a “sighting” but saw VanDiesel(?) while walking through the aisles of my local Target store... nice write-up
