So you stuffed your self and need to work it off?

COME RIDE THE 10TH ANNUAL
TOUR DE TRYPTOPHAN/24 HOURS
OF THE FULLERTON LOOP!

Benefitting BMX Legend Eddy King

- Fullerton, CA - - Burn off your turkey, have some fun, and raise some funds for a friend this Thanksgiving Weekend at the 10th Annual Tour de Tryptophan. This years fun ride benefits BMX Superstar Eddy King, who suffered spinal injuries last month while riding Snow Summit's new mountain bike park.

WHAT

The Fullerton Loop is an 11.5 mile suburban mountain bike ride that links abandoned railways with horse trails, through neighborhoods and parks, with "extra credit" singletrack sections throughout... Mountain Bike legend Richard Cunningham mapped the loop out when he started Mantis Mountain Bikes in the early 80's. Now thousands of people ride it weekly for training and fun...

Tour de Tryptophan is a fun ride where we celebrate the loop, our friends, Thanksgiving and we raise a few dollars for someone in need.

WHEN?

We meet at 11am on Friday after Thanksgiving, and the ride goes from Noon Friday until Noon on Saturday. We don't care if you ride one lap, twenty laps, or no laps. Just come out and have a good time. The current record is eighteen laps (207 miles!) held by Jim Cooke, who's son Alan Cooke is another BMX honch, and whose mother the trail is named after! Oh, and did we mention he's in his 60's?

WHERE?

The Fullerton Loop is located on Berkeley Avenue, West of Harbor Blvd., in the upper lot of the Courthouse parking.

BENEFIT

As mentioned, this year's beneficiary will be Eddy King. A Donation of $40 gets you a commemorative T-Shirt with the artwork above, and we will have other cool items for sale as well. A limited amount of shirts will be available at the event, and we may do a second run if there is demand.

This will be a fun time and I will be camping in the van at the start finish.

Sorry I'll be missing that one, Kelly. I was all geared up for a road bike climb today, over 4K feet in about 30 miles, but it rained all morning so I'm just sitting in front of my computer buying shit I don't really need. Hopefully I can do it tomorrow. Have fun on yours.
