Bumping an interesting thread originally started by rionapo back in 2013...encouraging contributions just because it's fun.

Good bump--I hope you were appropriately social distanced and/or having donned your PPE?

I recall this recent thread, it was and still is pretty fascinating.

Thanks!

Have spent a lot of time on forums over the decades in many forms from @dmins to vendors.

These threads are always the best because you always get to witness each member define their character and come out in the community, honestly sometimes it makes new friends and cliques.. It's like the campfire story telling sans the campfire unfortunately.

In a quirky way, I guess that's what we are.. We are second & recent owners of Fold-A-Flame. There were many unused but started accounts and open opportunities of communities we feel were not used for the sense of being parts of those communities. We're just trying to make best use and be contributors towards the communities in those records & accounts.

We continue in the footsteps of the original owners in making quality products for people that like to have fun. Minimalist design camping products, adding into simplistic manners for short or long term adventures and experiences. Hence the Handle; we offer a folding grill/firepit product that packs down to just under 1.5" (3.81cm) and conveniently stores in a heavy duty 1000D nylon carrying bag. Anything more than that may be construed as unwanted advertising on a site so we'll have to keep your curiosity peaked, lol.

We understand the guidelines for and like most forums, we will eventually seek site contributor status as we grow through and after this horrible year. We just wanted to join in on a great thread and share ourselves in a post.

Now what kind of beer are we serving up in here? ; )

There is a great thread on that here which could use updating......basically every day.

Welcome and thanks for being forthcoming about who you are and what your angle is, so to speak. Of all the camping forums I'm on I'm surprised I've never heard of you. Send demos! PM for address.

My handle is zappo because that’s the name of my blue nose pitbull

If I was to have named my van it would have been tortuga because of its hard shell high top

I have an f150 overland 4x4 I named “ Shaka” which is Hawaiian for “hang loose” or “right on” it’s a hand gesture I like it because generally just a positive or chill vibe like Hawaiian people that aren’t in as much of hurry as mainland and take a little more time to enjoy their surroundings/life etc
