dar636... I am an FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR), a private person who can issue airworthiness certificates and documents. When I was given my authorization in 2000 the system generated a designee number, near as I can tell I am the 636th designee since the system was created. Our 2007 SMB, a diesel 4x4 RB 50 is named 'Rattle and Humm" Explanation not required

COOL! Are you an EAA member? If so, do you also inspect homebuilts?

Yes, and I do - are you building something? I spend most of my time on large aircraft though I own a Cessna.

I was building a Pober Junior Ace, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had the wings built, but lost my build space, so had to scrap it. I had a 1946 Aeronca Champ and then a 1947 Stinson 108-2. Hopefully, they'll have Airventure 2021.

Very cool - I had a 46 Champ too! A 7AC with the A-75 and a metal prop. Wish I could have kept it but I was limited on hangar space at the time. Back to 'splainin yer handle...

My handle, Wander, appropriately describes me. Being ADD, I love the idea of just hitting the road or trail and seeing what I see.

My Champ was once used as a crop duster in Texas. They put the chemical hopper in the back seat. It had a C85 with a metal climb prop. It wasn't very fast, but it climbed like "a homesick angel."

Maybe we can meet up at Airventure this year(?).

That's the most fantastic explanation I've ever heard. Totally unbelievable.

My mother had absolutely nothing to do with mine.
