Seems like you could just attach nets to each side of the boat and run up and down the river a couple time until you got your limit.

Asian carp, came in the ballast tank of a ship in the Great Lakes. No limits - Some states are actually putting a huge bounty on them just to get rid of them as they are wiping out the local breeds. Boat motors drive them nuts!

A friend of mine in Illinois had his ocular orbit bones broken by taking about a 15# fish in the face at about 30 MPH...

There are a number of Asian carp species in the US and some of them infest the Great Lakes. However, these jumpers are Silver Carp. They are not yet in the Great Lakes and much effort is being spent to keep them out. They infest most of the Mississippi drainage. They were intentionally imported in the '70s and escaped to the wild.
