But really, my question is if Jeffrey had problems with dirt and sand, how do these guys handle it?

My guess would be that is the diesel preheat not the furnace. Whether or not is has the same exhaust... ??

Also you'd probably have to pull the turret to put a PH in, which would downgrade the cool factor slightly.

Hmmm, didn't think about it being the pre-heat (since I don't have that option). Still, it's right by the large lever for heater on/off. I'll ask next time I'm near one.

I did find it interesting however to have that panel just dropped in there, without some more rugged military over-panel or button swap or something.

It could use a PH. It's friggin' cramped in there, although it sure rides smoother than an MRAP!

That is the programmable timer, but without the round thermostat knob, it is clearly for a Hydronic.
