Two Santa Cruz sightings

Last night, I pulled into the New Seabright Beach campground and there was a red 4x4 SMB, cruiser top, Texas plates, and two chrome ladders on the back, one on each door.. I tried to say hello to the people, but never saw them. Nice rig.

Then today, on Soquel Ave in S.C proper, I saw a nice white or gray SMB with a PH top, tire rack and Baja box on the back. Another nice rig.

Re: Two Santa Cruz sightings

I was just in the area a couple of weeks ago with mine and I saw one driving north, I think on 1 right by river street. (not from the area so Im going off memory as to the street names) I had just bought mine up in San Francisco and was heading down to Santa Cruz for a good meal and then to Ben Lomand to camp for the night, seen another one on county road 9 (?) on the way up to Big Basin park. Love the Santa Cruz area.
Seen a couple others out on I-5 as well.

Re: Two Santa Cruz sightings

Sounds like there is a Sportsmobile epidemic in California. SMBs are springing up everywhere.
