Re: Unknown treasures
Movies: "Jeremiah Johnson" (no kidding)
"Honeysuckle Rose" (Willie Nelson)
These are the only movies I have watched over and over again throughout the years. I rarely rewatch or reread.
Books: "Living the Good Life" by Helen and Scott Nearing... autobio of a couple who successfully got
off the grid before it was cool.
"Trials of the Earth: The Autobiography of Mary Hamilton" no words for how great.
Ditto on the above comment.

Tom,
I've seen 'art' films where certain body parts jiggled, but I've never before seen an art film where everything jiggled.

I can't help it, I'm a fat guy, and the Deavers ended up too firm.

Re: Unknown treasures
TWOGONE ... Trials of the Earth must be pretty good, and/or/ but obscure. No copies in my local library and abebook.com only has a few used copies starting at $34. I'm going to check some near-by libraries.

Re: Unknown treasures
"Trials of the Earth: The Autobiography of Mary Hamilton" has never been a commercial success, and is obscure. This may soon change, as I know of recent interest by a big league agency that will attempt to blow it up. There may be some used copies in East-of-the-Mississippi independent book stores for better prices.
