Very sad news, Ramsey has passed away

I just read this on Expo and quickly picked up the phone to call John Brindell, his business associate. Unfortunately it's true.

Apparently Ramsey (Bajasportsmobile) had just returned to his home in Baja and passed away from a heart attack this morning.

I have no further details except that John asked me to pass this on and share that it is true and not a rumor, and that he asks for everyone's patience as they mourn and move on. He said the shop will still be open and they will try to get back to normal as quick as possible and carry on.

Ramsey was a great friend to me personally, though I never did meet him in person. He has mentored me through lots of projects and I'll miss his support and friendship.

Thoughts and prayers to his wife Jan as she deals with his loss.

R.I.P. Ramsey

What horrible news. I had the pleasure of meeting Ramsey on a trip to Anza Borrego and always considered him a friend afterwards.

Is there anything we can do for his wife?

I am stunned by this news. I was just on the phone with Ramsey two days ago.

Ramsey was incredibly kind and generous to me with his knowledge and his time. He has helped me on many occasions. I will miss his assistance, but even more importantly, I will miss him for being the wonderful person that he was.

RIP, Ramsey. I hope you are 4-wheeling through the clouds.

I hope so. I don't know how to contact anyone but John and he doesn't know a lot either. Didn't Ramsey have a daughter or daughters too?

I hope we'll know more in a day or two
