Very useful new App
There is a very well done Application that is available for free or in a more complete version on the I Tunes App Store . It is available for I Pad , I Phone , Android and other devices . The app contains a wealth of information not only for yourself but for any youngsters or others not educated in many of the necessary regimes for assorted types of survival . SAS Survival Skills
The free version will give you information that will allow you to make a good decision as to buy or not to buy the complete version .

Very useful new App
Yes, I've got several of those type apps, including knot apps, which I think are fun to learn from.
Not to hijack, but here's one for you. Sun Seeker (remember the space). It' tracks the sun's trajectory your GPS coordinates and tells you how it will fall at any given time. Very helpful for pointing your rig to avoid sun when camping, or building a house, or landscaping/gardening, etc.

Very useful new App
Thanks for the find. That is one I do not have. The ones I do have, along medical/survival lines, are WebMD, iTriage, and the US Military Surviival Guide. If I remember correctly all were free.

Re: Very useful new App
Larrie ,
I have both the free version that is quite good and the pay version that is I feel twice as comprehensive , it even has a feature that allows for sending Morse Code right off of your device . I am always amazed at all of this technology and pure genius involved in the day to day workings of this shrinking world that we live in !
